HANASCO Services

Haiti Earthquake Red Cross ShipDisaster Relief & Redevelopment: HANASCO, with support from global fortune 500 companies, proposes the establishment of emergency infrastructure on La Gonave Island in order to efficiently distribute containerized cargo to coastal locations affected by the February, 2010 earthquake without port infrastructure.  We recommend the immediate commencement of rapid airfield development on La Gonave Island while simultaneously developing the port at Anse-a-Galet for deep-sea anchorage container crane capabilities for offloading ocean-going vessels onto the HILS’ LC fleet.

Haitian Inter-coastal Logistics System (HILS), developed by HANASCO, will create value by providing inter-coastal maritime logistics solutions to organizations importing humanitarian aid into Haiti. Humanitarian assistance imported into Haiti will be transloaded onto the HILS’ landing craft (LC) fleet. HILS' LC fleet will employ a roll-on roll-off strategy to offload cargo at variouspoints around Port-au-Prince without the need for a container crane. HILS will increase security and efficiency for imported humanitarian assistance; saving organizations and companies each year in logistics costs in the short-term and into the long-term.

Business & Industry Development: In this rebuilding global economy, businesses and communities need to take advantage of every tool to foster a better economic climate, increase trade and commerce and create jobs and economic development. HANASCO's management team will provide your company with experience and expertise to profitably initiate or expand business operations in Haiti.
